Climate Variation and Climate Change Projection for Bulgaria

The purpose of this brochure is to summarize the publications and research of the last 10-15 years in the field of climate, conducted in the main scientific directions at the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) in Bulgaria: meteorology, hydrology and agrometeorology. Not only the changing climate of Bulgaria and the expected future climate are presented, but also other climate studies, which, albeit for shorter periods, show the diversity of topics developed at NIMH. The brochure was prepared for the delegates of the 61st session of the IPCC in Sofia, held from July 27 to August 2, 2024.
